- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I hired Elizabeth Burr-Jones to handle a child custody matter. It was a complete waste of both money and time. After the first consultation, she became completely unavailable. She would not return phone calls and I was unable to schedule meetings with her because, according to her secretary/paralegal, "We don't do things that way here." All of my correspondence was expected to go through her incompetent staff. They missed the deadline to file my interrogatories, but assured me that those deadlines "didn't really matter." When I was finally able to get her on the phone and tell her that I was unhappy with her as an attorney, she started yelling about issues with her personal life. I tried to tell her that her personal issues shouldn't affect her professional performance as my attorney. She then yelled at me that she was withdrawing herself from my case. When I asked her how to go about getting my money back, she hung up on my and refused to take my calls. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ATTORNEY!!!
